Colours In My Head

The first track on this album takes me wistfully back to much younger times. My arrangement of Throw Your Arms Around Me had lain unsung for six years until a group of my friends agreed to perform it with me at a concert I organised in July 1999. With my characteristic flair for self promotion I shortened our original name ‘Miguel Heatwole Andsome Friends’ to its current form before we took the stage.

Bondi Sings and Bondi Brass present a Christmas celebration and the launch of the NSW / ACT Chapter of the Australian National Choral Association and the launch of Choir Central - Australia's leading online resource for choirs and vocal groups.

With special guests, leading acappella male vocal ensemble, Vox Canvas.

Messiah is one of the best known and most performed choral works in the western canon. This oratorio was composed by George Frideric Handel in just three weeks in 1741.
Following the first performance in Dublin a year later, the response was overwhelming as the Dublin Journal suggests:
“Words are wanting to express the exquisite Delight it afforded to the admiring crouded Audience. The Sublime, the Grand, and the Tender, adapted to the most elevated, majestick and moving Words, conspired to transport and charm the ravished Heart and Ear.”

The Honeybees Summer Cabaret Concert is being held in a great new venue, The Harold Park Community Centre Tramsheds Forest Lodge.
